How to Manage a Call That Was Cut Off
This document provides an overview of how Storii users can effectively record their stories, manage their responses, and handle situations where their recordings may be cut off. By following these guidelines, users can ensure that their narratives are captured in full and that they have the flexibility to modify their responses as needed.
Recording Your Story
Users have a total of 15 minutes to record each story. In the event that a recording is cut off, users can easily continue their response by re-adding the specific question to the top of their Upcoming Questions list. This feature allows new recordings to be saved alongside any previous responses.
Handling Cut-Off Responses
If you find that your answer was cut off during the recording, there are two primary methods to ensure your full story is captured:
Add the Question Back to the Upcoming Questions List
Log into your Storii account.
Click on the Life Story profile.
Select the Answered Questions section.
Locate the question you wish to finish answering and click the "Add to Upcoming Questions" button. Alternatively, you can add to the transcription by clicking the "Edit" button and typing directly in the text box.
The next call recording will be appended to your existing answer, ensuring that no previous recordings are erased or replaced.
Don't Want to Wait for the Next Call Time? Call Storii to Add Your Recording
Dial the number from which you receive Storii calls.
You will then hear the next question in your Upcoming Questions queue, or you can create your own topic. In this case, you may repeat the question you were asked earlier.
Record your answer over the phone.
By following these steps, users can effectively manage their story recordings and ensure that their narratives are complete and well-articulated.
